Our client has a presence wide-reaching in supply chain solutions, providing comprehensive logistics services across various industries worldwide and are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely up to 4 days per week, with occasional travel to sites.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a vital role in establishing a strong partnership between operations, management, and finance. Your expertise will provide real-time support, analysis, and valuable insights that contribute to effective decision-making. Your ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and user-friendly manner will be crucial. By leveraging your analytical, commercial, and communication skills, you will drive improvements in financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the accuracy of financial information, including management accounts, budgets, forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations, and other key financial analysis and reports.
- Prepare required information and business reports for senior finance staff, such as audits or one-off analysis.
- Provide insightful explanations and commentaries on all areas of financial information, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with local management to prepare budgets and forecasts for your assigned area.
- Assist with the cash cycle, including timely and accurate invoicing and debt collection.
- Support Business Development in RFI/tender processes from inception to implementation.
- Ensure site administration and operational management understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Challenge site administration to produce accurate information, including quicks.
- Manage and guide your team, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
- Promote teamwork, motivation, and professional development within the team.

Key Requirements:

- Qualified (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA), or qualified by experience Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of current accounting standards (IFRS and UKGAAP) and financial legislative requirements.
- Experience in a similar role within a complex, fast-paced organisation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between Finance and Operations.
- Ability to add value to decision-making processes and influence day-to-day operations.
- Proven ability to challenge procedures and drive improvement and efficiency.
- Outstanding stakeholder influencing skills.
- Confidence in dealing with non-compliance and enforcing procedures and policies.
