Culinary Concepts now have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic PART-TIME Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager by taking ownership of the Sales and Purchase Ledger functions.
Ideally, you will have previous sales and purchase ledger experience in an SME environment. You will need experience of Excel. We use SAP Business One (training will be provided). You should be a team player and extremely well organised as this is a varied role. Excellent communication and numeracy skills are required.
This is an office-based role in which you will be responsible for:
- Sales Ledger activities including checking web order payments, invoicing, posting incoming payments, processing refunds, and credit control.
- Purchase Ledger activities processing invoices and supplier payments and reconciling supplier statements and preparing payment run.
- Reconciling accounts and preparing reports
- Participating in month end and year end tasks as required and ensuring deadlines are met
- Petty Cash reconciliations & postings

**Requirements**:
- At least 1-2 years work experience in a similar role ideally in SME environment
- Excel skills including vlookup/sumif/pivot
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Numerate with attention for detail
- Interpersonal skills, to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload effectively
- Understand the importance of confidentiality
- Able to perform data input with accuracy
Schedule:
- 5 days per week - Monday to Friday
- 20-25hrs per week
- 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
