Neon Filter Bookkeeper

We are Neon Filter and fast growing LED Neon Sign Manufacturer based in Hook. We deal directly with B2C and B2B clients, working with elite brands, production studios, events companies and public figures on an ever growing resume of projects. In a world mostly lit white light we built our brand around making a statement with vibrant neon colours and empowering phrases. Enabling anyone, anywhere to design their own from a phone or laptop through our custom website editor, and have it delivered direct to their door days later.

**Job Title**: Part-time Bookkeeper/Financial Controller

**Location**: Neon Filter, Alton Road, Hook, Hampshire, RG29 1RP

**Schedule**: One day per week (Thursday or Friday), onsite

**Position Type**: Part-time, Permanent

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve financial discrepancies and issues.
- Provide support for audits and financial inspections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred but not required).

**Schedule and Work Environment**:
This position requires availability one day per week, either Thursday or Friday, with no work from home option available. The work environment is professional and collaborative, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Pay: £7,500.00-£8,000.00 per year
