**Hunter Savage** are currently recruiting for **a Credit Controller** role based in Derry/Londonderry, for a new role within a growing organisation which plays a vital role locally in NI.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a **Credit Controller** with good all-round experience to work in a fast paced environment and become part of the wider finance team.

**The Role**:

- Manage debt and credit ledgers for all sectors of customer accounts including setting and driving monthly cash collection targets.
- Report on commercial and domestic debtor days, including implementing processes to reduce debtor days, bad debts review, and write downs.
- Manage escalated queries or disputes to satisfactory conclusion, including liaising with the Commercial, billing, and Customer Service teams to resolve any outstanding queries.
- Manage the process for referral of overdue accounts for legal action and manage the legal process.
- Manage cash allocation to the accounts, including unpaid direct debits, refunds, and direct debit runs.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

**The Person**:

- Over 5 years of experience in credit management, including 3+ years of experience in people management.
- Proficient in IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, and well-versed in using ERP systems.
- Demonstrates exceptional communication and management abilities.
- Strong dedication to customer satisfaction and possesses excellent negotiation skills.
