Band 4 -administrative Officer/coordinator

The post holder will work in the Haringey Rapid Response and Virtual Ward team which is part of the wider multi-agency Haringey Urgent Care Response service which supports hospital discharges and admission avoidance.
RRVW is co-located and integrated with therapy and adult social services colleagues and aims to respond to patient referrals in the community within 2 hours to prevent admission to hospital.
The post holder will primarily be working in Haringey borough but may be required to see patients in other NCL boroughs.
To line manage junior staff
To report to the Urgent Response Service business manager.
To represent the Haringey Urgent Response Care Group as the Admin Lead and receive professional support from the Business manager.
In conjunction with Urgent Response Business Manager, to plan and organise department inductions, student placements, work experience scholars.
To support the Urgent Response business manager and service manager in ensuring staff have appropriate trust and site induction booked, smartcard activation as well as relevant logins to work.
To maintain accurate personnel records including sickness and annual leave on Healthroster and ESR (electronic staff records).
To support with recruitment of the Admin staff in the Team.
To respond to verbal complaints made by patients and attempt to resolve these locally and to support other Admin staff doing same.
To act as Urgent Response care group Health and Safety Officer.
To support the Urgent Response Business manager and Urgent Response Service and operational Managers with implementing policies within the service.
To propose and initiate changes to administrative policies as required. To monitor all local policies and ensure timely.

To monitor all local policies and ensure timely review as required.
To identify and undertake audits as required.
To liaise with the Central Booking Team / Urgent response hub regarding any changes
To maintain effective stock control of stationary at all sites, accurately recording stock levels and anticipating demand where possible and ensuring that replacement stock is ordered as required.
Responsible for purchase of physical assets including stationary, office equipment and obtaining quotes for potential purchase of new equipment.
To support junior staff with their appraisal, supervision and also to induct new staff joining the team.
To be guided by precedent and clearly defined procedures in own work responsibilities. To work without supervision and to seek advice from line manager when required.
To manage own workload effectively ensuring work is prioritised and delivered to a high standard.
To manage allocation of workload to administration team effectively ensuring work is prioritised and delivered to a high standard. To train and motivate staff to achieve objectives and take on opportunities to improve their personal development.
To support the planning and administration of the urgent response team.
To participate in the staff appraisal scheme as an appraisee and to be responsible for own professional development plan in line with the Service objectives.
To be responsible for allocation of work, training and development
To set up new starters to the service with IT and induct and train on Medway, Rio, Netcalls and other systems as needed.
