**Job Description: Temporary Band 5 RMN**:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. This is a temporary position, with a start date of 19/02/2024 and an end date of 20/02/2024.

**Location**: Lynfield Mount Hospital, Heights Lane, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD9 6DP

As a Band 5 RMN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will work closely with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement appropriate care plans. Your role will involve delivering therapeutic interventions, administering medication, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all patients in your care.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide holistic, person-centered care that promotes recovery and supports individuals in achieving their goals. You will utilize your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and establish therapeutic relationships. Additionally, you will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making necessary adjustments to ensure the best possible outcomes for each individual.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Administering medication and ensuring accurate documentation
- Providing therapeutic interventions and facilitating group therapy sessions
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver holistic care
- Promoting a recovery-focused approach and empowering patients to actively participate in their care
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all patients, adhering to safeguarding protocols
- Supporting patients with reintegration into the community and providing aftercare advice

**Key Requirements**:

- Current registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Recent experience working in a mental health setting
- Strong assessment, planning, and implementation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of mental health legislation and best practice guidelines
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work

Payment Rate: £270 per shift
