**JOB SUMMARY**

Working within the RE:GEN Green team, part of RE:GEN Group, your role will oversee all the commercial functions of varying levels, across all electrical and renewable projects and installations.

You will work closely with the operational and technical leads to ensure projects are priced and delivered in an exceptional manor.

This role will be a great fit for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with renewables experience wanting to progress in their career. Equally, this role is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager looking to join an award-winning business.

**DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To manage commercial activities across the business.
- Work closely with the Electrical Manager and Technical Lead to oversee and deliver projects.
- To cover the management of client projects / frameworks to provide successful commercial delivery and achievement of budgets.
- Manage numerous stakeholder relationships, including external relationships with clients, suppliers and wider commercial and operational teams.
- To work closely with the supply chain to understand net costs for all trades to assist with bids and live projects and ensure all material procurement is in line with RE:GEN Group material rates.
- To manage cash flow successfully within the business and ensure all client valuations are processed in a timely manner and all payments to the supply chain are processed to the agreed upon dates.
- Financial management of projects from start to completion, ensuring any risks are mitigated in a timely manner.
- Work with the Group Commercial Director to ensure consistency of reportage and adherence to the RE:GEN Way.
- Production of monthly CVR reports for review with RE:GEN Group board.
- Knowledge of contract law and able to liaise with RE:GEN Group legal team to ensure all risks are mitigated / reduced.
- Strong focus on change management to review any situation where large variations, EOT’s, projects and LAD’s are required and ensuring that all clients are aware of potential changes to their projects.
- Assist the estimating team in pricing projects from existing frameworks based upon previously agreed or new contract rates.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in Renewable Energy Installations.
- Ability to make decisions to mitigate risk within all projects.
- Good organisation skills.
- Excellent focus on attention to detail.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and work to key deadlines.
- Excellent IT skills - MS Office, Excel, Project, Word etc.
