About the Job: Intelligent Employment is looking for a talented Contract and Commercial Manager to join our team and drive commercial excellence in our construction projects.

Job Summary: As a Construction Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for leading our procurement efforts, developing purchasing strategies, and managing logistics to ensure successful project outcomes. Your expertise in strategic sourcing, opportunity analyses, and contract negotiations will drive cost savings and efficiency improvements across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop equipment purchasing strategies for large-scale industrial construction projects;
  • Negotiate and issue purchase orders and work orders for construction commodities;
  • Maintain and pre-qualify vendors from a financial health perspective;
  • Interface with central procurement to ensure effective purchasing strategies and low-cost contracts;
  • Support the purchase order closeout process, including reconciliation of material receipts and billings;

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in purchasing for large industrial construction projects, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A Master's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, as well as additional experience in project controls or construction management.
