- Vacancy ID 14479- We are currently recruiting for a temporary Office Events Assistant to work on site at one of our centrally based departments starting ASAP for approx 12 weeks working 36.5 hrs p/w an paying £12.09 p/h**Duties**:
The Events Assistant will be involved with all areas of managing the logistics behind the event - from handling registrations and attendee enquiries; to liaising with stakeholders, suppliers and speakers; as well as assisting with documentation such as risk assessments, event plans and evaluations. The Events Assistant also plays a key part in the event delivery, and will work with the Events Manager to lead the rest of the Alumni Office team in managing the event successfully on the day.

**Essential Criteria**
- Proven experience in running and organising events
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
- Able to build productive relationships with a range of stakholders
