The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an efficient, high quality and confidential business and administrative support service to the Service Transformation & Partnerships Team within Mental Health & Learning Disabilities, supporting them in their key internal and external relationships and in the achievement of their service objectives.

The post holder will maintain a comprehensive overview and understanding of the team’s activity and proactively manage the support for the Service Improvement Managers and Third Sector Commissioning Manager.

We are looking for a strong team player, with excellent organisational, planning and time-management skills, and who can work well under pressure and to tight time-scales.

The post holder will display effective communication on confidential matters on a day to day basis with internal and external partners of the Health Board e.g. senior members of the Health Board, Local Authority, Third Sector, Police, WAST and service users, carers and members of the public etc.

The post holder will be responsible for arranging and organising a programme of meetings to support the work programme, including the preparation of agendas and minute taking of key meetings, as well as providing high quality reports to support the work of the team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Our 11,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services for around 384,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales. We do this in partnership with our three local authorities and public, private and third sector colleagues, including our volunteers, through:
**Four main hospitals**: Bronglais General in Aberystwyth, Glangwili General in Carmarthen, Prince Philip in Llanelli and Withybush General in Haverfordwest;
**Seven community hospitals**: Amman Valley and Llandovery in Carmarthenshire; Tregaron, Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion; and Tenby and South Pembrokeshire Hospital Health and Social Care Resource Centre in Pembrokeshire;
48 general practices (five of which are managed practices), 47 dental practices (including three orthodontic), 99 community pharmacies, 44 general ophthalmic practices (43 providing Eye Health Examination Wales and 34 low vision services) and 17 domiciliary only providers and 11 health centres;
Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;
Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.

The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the overall administrative functions of the Service Transformation & Partnerships Team.

The post holder will be responsible for establishing systems for the routine collation, analysis and interpretation of performance information regarding service changes, project plans and Third Sector commissioned services, ensuring that data and information is kept accurately and comprehensively and that processes and policy is available with support with training needs where required.
