2fawcett recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced purchase administrator. The dynamic Purchasing Administrator will play a pivotal role in driving our organization's success through effective procurement and supply chain management with growth opportunities and a vibrant workplace culture. They will be responsible for ensuring on-time deliveries to exceed customer expectations, maintain optimal stock levels and facilitate seamless communication across departments/branches, fostering a collaborative work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Purchasing Supervisor/Manager in streamlining procurement activities and enhancing supplier relationships.
- Conduct effective sourcing of parts and components, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
- Take ownership of on-time deliveries, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies to meet customer requirements.
- Generate insightful reports to analyze stock levels, consumption patterns, and demand forecasting, enabling informed decision-making.
- Place orders with suppliers, closely monitoring order status and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate branch stock transfers, coordinating seamless movement of inventory to optimize availability.
- Proactively expedite orders, collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logístical challenges.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to drive cost reductions while maintaining supplier relationships.
- Uphold responsibilities outlined in the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CIPS qualification desirable
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
- Product knowledge in the Hydraulics Industry is desirable
- Proficiency in negotiation skills

Language proficiency in German or Italian
