We are looking for someone to join our administration team which supports work that WinMil Ltd does to help a wide range of people across Suffolk.

You will be a team player who can also work independently and bring their own initiative to the role. You will join a motivated and capable team, bringing good organisational skills and a passion for helping the team and our organisation to succeed in our vital work.

This role will focus on supporting a range of processes involving staff and tenants, including recruitment, selection, building management, health and safety.

The role is part-time (22.5-30 hours per week) based at our Ipswich office on Crown St.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Responsible for day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Providing clerical and administrative support to Director
- Compiling and updating employee records
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, supervision etc)
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation by processing relevant data (absences, annual leave, leaves, etc)
- Communicate with public services when necessary
- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
- Maintain and monitor housing benefit
- Maintain overview of utilities i.e. electricity, water.
- Maintaining a safe environment with proper lighting, signage, and disability access
- Drafting maintaining and updating emergency plans and evacuation procedures
- Overseeing security, fire prevention, and other safety systems
- Scheduling regular building maintenance
- Contracting professionals for repairs as needed
- Providing training for building employees as needed
- Assisting with emergency response and evacuations
- Maintaining records of tenants
- Inspecting the building frequently for signs of damage or wear

**Essential Requirements**
- A proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Previous experience in HR administration
- Good organisational skills
- Great attention to detail
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness to learn and the ability to adapt are essential

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22.5-30 per week

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
