Recovery Interventions Facilitator

We have an exciting opportunity for an
** Interventions Facilitator** to join the drug and alcohol team based within HMP Humber. Your focus will be on delivering and developing group/pod work programmes, such as Foundations of Recovery, you will be required to deliver group work and working on a one to one basis.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

**Where**: HMP Humber

**Hours**: 37.5hrs per week

**Salary**: CGL Scale 23 - 28 - £27,449.52 - £31,529.41 dependent on experience

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitator/s after groups/pods have taken place
- Lead on graduation events for service users who have completed the programme
- Review service user feedback and make adjustments as necessary
- Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the SUs, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc

**About you**:

- Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviour
- Experience of Motivational Interviewing and Psycho Social Interventions
- Ability to understand the specific needs of groups
- Understanding of evidence based interventions in a group work setting including around substance misuse and offending behaviour (desirable but not essential)
