**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Fourply are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with a strong work ethic to work in our Accounts Department, adhering to established operating procedures.

**JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**

∙ Matching and batching purchase orders, goods’ received notes and invoices

∙ Processing Supplier/Sub-Contractor invoices onto Fourply’s job management software to export to Sage

∙ Seek authorisation from department Managers to ensure month-end deadlines are met

∙ Chase-up overdue Supplier/Sub-Contractor invoices

∙ Chase down and liaise with Suppliers and Sub-Contractors on any processing queries

∙ Reconcile statements to Sage

∙ Prepare and issue Supplier/Sub-Contractor payment runs, weekly whilst liaising with Accounts Manager

∙ Ensure compliance with Company rules and procedures

∙ Ability to work methodically, efficiently and accurately to deadlines

∙ Show initiative and self-discipline to see works through to a satisfactory completion

**ATTAINMENTS/ EXPERIENCE**

∙ Experience in Purchase Ledger

∙ Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Sage, Excel and Office 365

∙ Knowledge of working within the construction sector would be an advantage

Established in 2001, Fourply is headquartered in Glasgow, with a dedicated team of over 60 professionals located in both Glasgow and the North of England.

Specialising in high-quality building projects, our portfolio includes refurbishments, minor works, fire protection and maintenance services.

**HOURS OF WORK**

You will normally be required to work 40 hours per week. Your normal hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day between the hours of 08:00am and 16:30pm.
