**TTS 24-7 Recruitment is delighted to be supporting our client with another exciting opportunity to join their team in Glasgow.**

Glasgow’s favourite fishmongers is looking for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to enable them to thrive beyond the supply of over 300 restaurants with fish and poultry products daily.

**Role Overview**: As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you’ll be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing payment runs. Additionally, the role involves liaising with suppliers and resolving any queries that may arise, ensuring that all financial transactions are seamlessly executed. There will also be an element of HR, and general office Admin.

**Key Duties**:

- Invoicing, checking invoices against goods received and good charged.
- Post all invoices and credit notes to the ledger via software (Pegasus Opera) ensuring the correct code is uses when doing so.
- Check all invoices posted to the ledger have been posted correctly and accurately.
- File invoices and statement.
- Request and maintain updated supplier statement.
- Statement reconciliation
- Payment processing/matching
- Creating new supplier accounts
- Preparing month end and year reports.
- Assisting with recruitment process, RTW checks and obtaining copies of necessary documents.
- Creating and maintaining employees’ records
- Managing holiday systems
- Regularly checking and downloading clock in system
- Keeping up to date with HR trends.

There will be an element of admin involved in this role, where taking customer orders, dealing with queries, and processing payments will be involved.

**Requirements**:

- Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar role.

**Shift Details**
- Tuesday to Saturday 06.00am-14.00pm
- Salary £24,000 per annum

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
