Job objectives and responsibilities
The Fraud Investigation - Coordinator is a key role within an Internal Audit team, offering a unique opportunity to gain investigation experience in a FTSE250 group function. You will play a key role in conducting a variety of tasks in order to prevent and detect fraud, irregularities and gaps in internal controls.

Main duties and accountabilities
- Working in conjunction with the fraud investigation assistant manager and the deputy head of investigations, legal, HR and other functions to assist in internal investigations.
- Assist in the management of the Whistleblowing case management system (EthicsPoint) including case triage process, referring to the deputy head of investigations where necessary.
- To effectively respond to enquiries from and to a range of internal stakeholders.
- To assist in gathering evidence and witness interviews.
- Working with the fraud investigation assistant manager to progress investigations.
- To identify new and innovative sources of information that will support the investigative process.
- Assisting in fraud prevention work including raising awareness internally.

- Assist in the development and implementation of the Mitie Fraud Framework

Internal controls

Health and Safety responsibilities
- Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) properly and in accordance with training received;
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;
