**The Role**

We are seeking an outstanding individual to play a key role in our Attendance Office. This is an opportunity to develop skills in both areas and understand how function works in a large organisation.

Philip Morant School and College is a community where everyone feels they belong and are the best they can be.

We have recently been judged “good” in all areas by Ofsted and our report states “Staff are proud to work at the school and feel valued.”

Our improvements in attendance over the last two years have been achieved through our hard working and dedicated team of staff across the school, supporting the attendance officer and administrator in achieving our attendance goals.
- **This post is 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time, plus non-pupil days)**:

- **The working pattern will be 8am - 3:30pm (including a 30-minute unpaid break).**

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Take telephone messages and record absences on electronic registration system
- Check registers have been completed for each period and send register reminders.
- Assist Attendance Officer and or Year Managers with Welfare Calls.
- Provide attendance data as and when required for the Senior Leadership Team/Pastoral Team.
- Produce information to support our positive attendance reward schemes

- A strong understanding of confidentiality and care for students and staff
