**Job Purpose**
In this role you will establish a best-in-class Business Development Process for a specific InfraRed Strategy (e.g. Capital Gain, Income), with a focus on Fundraising and Investor Relations following the successful closing of an unlisted fund.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
**_Business Development and Nordic Coverage _**
- Product Idea Generation: Gather investor intelligence & Macro and sector news flow and trends - to feed into strategy and structuring of new funds and other products
- Product Concept: project management and contribution to the scope and develop fund products incl key terms
- Verification and Positioning: Conduct market sounding with existing investors and prospects
- Market Mapping: Define Target markets / prospects
- Marketing Plan: Devise distribution strategy and manage relation with Placement Agent
- Pre-Marketing: Conduct pre-marketing process
- Be responsible for Capital Raising (Funds and co investments) project management Marketing Documents, including drafting, creating and reviewing presentations etc, managing data rooms and devising clear messages
- Marketing:
- Organizing roadshows/ investor meetings, representing the business at marketing events
- Selective investor coverage / relationships - help build and maintain relationships with key intermediaries and prospective investors
- Development of relationships with investors in the Nordic region
**_Investor Relations _**
- Relationship Management:
- Develop relations and communications with investors and responsible for high level and fund specific comms
- Support Head of Investor Relations & CS investor management where appropriate
- Investor queries
- Draft responses to unusual queries and requests and oversee investor transfers and changes, DD requests, audit queries, drawdown queries etc.
- Review documentation for accuracy
- Operational Due Diligence: Structure investor meetings / site visits including presentations
- Reporting:
- Liaise with Investment, Asset and Portfolio Management teams regularly to keep abreast of key developments in portfolios and markets
- Review content of relevant investor reporting and correspondence for accuracy, relevance and message positioning incl. content for investor event
- Support Investor Relations and sales where appropriate Product related Investor Events:
- Organize investor events and oversee process and preparation of associated materials
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Proven relevant industry experience in a business development/ fund raising role with advanced understanding of the institutional infrastructure / real asset industry and relevant client base alongside market and competitor knowledge.
- Demonstrable ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders, collaborate with and influence colleagues at all levels.
- Demonstrable deep client relationship skills, listening skills, analytical and data management skills.
- A team player with excellent communication and inter-personal skills (both verbal and written) to interact with InfraRed teams, advisors, business partners and investors.
- Diligent, self motivated with attention to detail and ability to deliver work in a structured and well thought-out way. Including ability to multi-task and work towards deadlines.
- Understand key trends and adapt to changing business environment and understanding of the respective regulatory environment.
- Willingness to travel. Significant travel is expected in the role to build and cultivate relationships.
