**Support Staff Wanted**

We are working with a special school that caters for pupils aged 2 to 19 with profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, and autistic spectrum disorders. The school offers a stimulating and nurturing environment where every student is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

As a support staff member, you will work under the direction of the class teacher and the senior leadership team to provide practical and emotional support to the students. You will assist with the delivery of the curriculum, the development of communication and social skills, and the promotion of independence and well-being. You will also help with the personal care needs of the students, such as feeding, toileting, and dressing.

**To be successful in this role, you will need to have**:

- A genuine interest and enthusiasm for working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities
- A positive and flexible attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or health and social care, or equivalent experience
- An enhanced Child and Adult DBS check and the right to work in the UK
