An opportunity has arisen for a **Procurement Officer** to join the Digital Department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.

**Job role**:

- Preparation and issue of tenders.
- Carry out commercial negotiations.
- Supplier selection approval in conjunction with commodity team and supplier quality assurance team.
- Lead the resolution of supplier quality concerns when non-conforming product or service is identified.
- Conduct supplier assessment audits with supplier quality assurance team to identify potential new suppliers capable of supplying to Fortescue requirements.
- Creation and development of supplier performance data and working with supplier quality assurance team to ensure effective supplier development plans are in place and measures executed.
- Create, develop, and continuously improve the business procurement processes and procedures within a

multi programme environment.

**You’ll have**:

- A positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Previous procurement experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- Strong analytical skills allied with an ability and commitment to meet deadlines.
- Microsoft Excel, Word and Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
