**Barnardo's is the lead body for the co-ordination of the Outer South and East Belfast Family Support Hub. We are looking for a new Family Support Hub Co-ordinator to join our team**.

Family Support Hubs operate across the Northern Ireland to link families with early intervention family support services in their area. Each Family Support Hub consists of community, voluntary and statutory organisations that are working to support children and young people aged 0-18 and their parents/carers.

The role of the Family Support Hub Co-ordinator is to:

- Manage referrals for family support from various sources
- Connect with families who are requesting a service, listen to their needs and identify appropriate support services
- Link families with Hub member organisations
- Manage the administration of referrals and onward service requests
- Collate data and prepare reports
- Organise and facilitate monthly hub member meetings
- Contribute to the development and promotion of the hub
- Demonstrable experience of delivering family support services eg parenting advice, home visiting, family group conferencing,, family case work, parenting programmes, mentoring, youth work (including links with parents)
- Demonstrable experience of managing safeguarding and assessing risk and thresholds
- Strong administration skills and demonstrable experience of tasks such as maintaining records, preparing reports and the use of IT systems such as Excel and Word

**Essential criteria (assessed at interview)**
- Able to demonstrate experience and competency in managing referrals, assessing need and allocating services in response.
- Ability to lead meetings and confidently present reports to groups of family support service providers
- Knowledge of family support services and networks
- Knowledge of best practice in early intervention family support, including impact of adverse childhood experiences and trauma on attachment
- Demonstrable interpersonal communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships with range of key stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise workload and work independently
