Careers, Education and Guidance Co-ordinator

Our intention is to provide people with the skills, knowledge and experience to BE resilient, confident & independent, to GROW into education, employment or meaningful activity, LIVE healthily, BE active & responsible citizens and BE safe.
We are looking for a Careers, Education, Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG) Co-ordinator to join our dedicated team in our Liverpool Centre.
The main requirements of the role are:
- Provide Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance to students prior to, during and after their periods of learning with SWRAC
- To provide high-level pastoral care for students and sign-post/support to specialist provision where needed
- To main contact with all students for a period of 12 months following their end of learning with SWRAC to offer continued CEIAG as required
- To monitor and record different outcomes for different students = e.g. work outcomes, progression to other education, volunteering etc
- To monitor those students who leave before their scheduled end of learning and to report upon identified trends
- To contribute to safeguarding processes as required
- To contribute to EHCP reviews as required
- To provide monthly summary of monitoring outcomes and other required reports
- To develop effective communication systems to enable on-going tracking & with students
- Prepare student case-studies both in text & video formats - 2 per months
- To support the company Matrix standard assessment and to ensure company maintains the Matrix standard
- To support the company to meet the Gatsby standards
- To be aware of and attend local stakeholder meetings as appropriate to the role
- To attend job fairs, career guidance and other networking events as appropriate
- To act as the liaison between SWRAC and commissioning organisations in the areas CEIAG and pastoral/social concerns
- Maintain close working relationships with tutors, IQAs to ensure that services are provided effectively & efficiently to student
- Any other duties required by the Management team
Person Specification
- Experience of providing careers education, advice and guidance
- Level 2 Maths & English (or equivalent)
- Experience of working with young adults who have SEND/behavioural difficulties
- Understanding of relevant polices /codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation
