Sports Coach

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sports Coach to join our team. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to children in various sports disciplines. Your role will involve educating children on proper techniques, developing their skills, and fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

**Duties**:

- Plan and deliver training sessions for children in accordance with their skill level and goals
- Teach children the fundamentals of the sport, including rules, strategies, and techniques
- Develop individualised training programs to enhance childrens performance and address areas of improvement
- Provide constructive feedback to children to help them refine their skills and reach their full potential
- Organise and supervise sessions
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline among athletes
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be reliable and trustworthy
- Friendly outgoing to build good relationships with children, parents and school staff

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge and experience in sports coaching, with expertise in one or more specific sports disciplines
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback to children
- Ability to motivate and inspire children to achieve their goals
- Strong organisational skills to plan training sessions and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Patience and adaptability to work with children of different ages, skill levels, and backgrounds
- Leadership qualities to guide and mentor children throughout their development journey
- First aid certification is preferred but not required

**Salary**: £12.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- DBS (preferred)
