As our next Compliance Business Partner, you will join our compliance leadership team, working alongside peers with a range of different backgrounds. You will provide pragmatic, business-focused advice and guidance on strategic, regulatory, and business change across the business. As a result, you will build on skills and knowledge you already have, whilst learning about how YBS works to support a wide range of colleagues and different business areas. As a member of the leadership team you will also support and develop colleagues in this challenging and varied role. The role is based at our office location in the centre of Leeds, though we do work in a hybrid way meaning there is a mix of both office-based and home working.

**What You'll Do**

Working as an internal consultant, you will:

- Support senior stakeholders in tackling complex regulatory matters and helping them identify, manage and achieve regulatory compliance, co-creating solutions where appropriate.
- Deliver pragmatic and timely high quality compliance advice.
- Promote a compliance-aware culture, supporting the business in delivering good outcomes for our customers.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships. Contribute to the development of colleagues, prioritisation of activities, and influencing the strategic priorities of the function as a whole.

- Adaptable in your approach to stakeholder engagement and delivering solutions
- Have the customer at the heart of everything you do, whilst having a commercial awareness.
- Able to work autonomously but as part of a team whose focus is the delivery of excellent service to our stakeholders.
