**Just Imagine Day Nursery Wickford Station Avenue** are looking for Nursery Bank Staff to join their team on a flexible basis. This will be a 0 hour contract.

The Nursery is a well-established provision in the area, located a 1 minute walk from Wickford train station. We are open from 7am-7pm - Monday to Friday and also have an out of school/holiday club on site, meaning that most of the children within their care are with them from babies until the end of year six. This allows great bonds to be built with the children and their families.

The nursery is a 56 place nursery, offering 12 baby room places, 12 toddler room and 32 preschool places. The nursery also has 32 spaces in the wrap around care facility/holiday club.

The nurseries aim is to provide a happy, homely and loving environment for all the children in our care and has a calm and natural environment, with lots of fun learning opportunities available.

There is a low staff turnover, meaning staff are all one big working family. This allows for great relationships with parents/families to be built.

**The nursery will consider Level 3, Level 2 and Unqualified applicants.**

**As Bank Staff, you will**:

- Assist room leader and other staff members in providing the highest standard of compliance, care, and education for children, and effectively carry out daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.
- Adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the Room Leader and other staff members in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine.
- Always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements
- Contribute ideas to planning with stimulating activities, ensuring the children receive high quality of learning and development.
- Liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

**As Bank Staff, you will need**:

- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential.
- Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Qualification - desirable.
- Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable.
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable.
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating **- **desirable**.**
