Our client stands as a global leader in construction and infrastructure technology that works with government authorities, asset owners, construction companies, and design offices to support their infrastructure projects. Absolutely huge business, they’veexpanded into over 50 countries worldwide. Their 3 main capabilities out geotechnics (rock and soil anchor systems), post tensioning (load bearing systems) and lifespan management (maintenance).
They are seeking a Business Analyst on a 12 month FTC contract - In this role, you will need to be able to commute to both Bury and Southam (Midlands).
The Business Analyst will perform a critical role for their new UK ERP deployment of D365 Business Central. This role will bring the necessary expertise to deliver process mapping, documentation, and transformation of business processes, including Finance,Manufacturing, Sales, Administration, Field Services and Support.
The project requires a highly experienced and professionally qualified Business Analyst to assess, capture, guide and deliver the documentation of business processes to enable the UK ERP implementation to become the new global template for rollout to otherregions/countries in subsequent years, ultimately replacing 23 globally diverse ERP’s.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyse existing and create new business requirements, for two different businesses across the UK coming together under one new ERP solution. Evaluate existing business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, document and artefact analysis, requirement workshops, use cases, business process descriptions, interface analysis, task & work flow analysis.
- Understand systems and manual processes in current use and extract the relevant requirements that will be met by the new ERP.
- Investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures (with the Data Architect) using various analysis tools and techniques.
- Participate in design discussions, identification, and presentation of options, in coordination with Project and Business teams, testing options in coordination with business users, and documentation of design, testing, and acceptance criteria.
- Cross check that documented business requirements will be met by the functions within the ERP solution and ensure gaps are addressed by the Project Team and Steering Committee.
- Analyse and optimise the inter-relationships between business processes, procedures, systems, interfaces, and the organisational structure to determine changes to roles and responsibilities created/impacted by the ERP induced business process change.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimisation strategies
- Undertaking and documenting requirements analysis
- Create and maintain key relationships with internal stakeholders and Senior Management to ensure that both the business and Global IT are aligned during ongoing projects and implementations.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- 5+ years of Functional and Technical Business Analyst role work experience
- Qualification in Business Analysis or equivalent preferred (e.g., BCSQualifications/Accreditations)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation and negotiation skills
- Experience of building relationships at all levels of the organisation and with external vendors and contractors
- Experience in business systems analysis, process engineering, process, and organisational transformation
- Must have proven ability to analyse and streamline processes and the can translate business needs into technical solution
- Ability to identify, capture and translate business requirements for technical teams
- Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
- Worked extensively in and has in-depth functional knowledge in ERP Systems, ideally Microsoft D365 Business Central
- Experience of country level ERP implementations including successful process reengineering and simplification
- Shows a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint
- Expert knowledge of Process Mapping tools (Adonis, Visio)
