This particular branch, based in Haywards Heath, specialises in arranging insurance for the Education sector (specifically Independent / Private Schools). The company is well-known as a market-leader within this specialist sector, and looks after an impressivenumber of establishments, ranging from small Prep schools, through to some of the most famous private schools in the world. As Commercial Account Handler, you’ll enjoy varied duties, which will include but not be limited to, handling renewals, processing mid-term adjustments, providing quotations and dealing with general client enquiries. Whilst you will be supporting an AccountExecutive (who will handle the client-facing responsibilities), you will be encouraged to have regular contact with your policyholders, which makes this a really interesting role.
It's essential that you are well-organised and efficient, with the ability to produce accurate documentation within agreed timescales. Just as importantly, you’ll have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), together with the ability to buildstrong relationships with colleagues, clients and insurers. It’s crucial that you have good common sense and self-initiative as you’ll need to be fact-finding from clients in relation to their developing activities and insurance requirements.
The company offers a highly-flexible working arrangement, and whilst you’ll be welcome in the office as much as you like, you’ll only need to be in 2 days per week.
