A large Public sector organisation bases in the South West, with offices in Bath, Salisbury and Swindon.
Your new role
The post holder will provide a professional buying service, working to set procedures. They will be expected to process approved requisitions for external customers in line with SLA's, deliver training to support the effective use of the Purchasing systemsacross the organisation. Being responsible for the effective management and timely resolution of purchasing queries and support the organisations savings targets.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of working in a centralised purchasing or customer services environment.
- The ability to communicate to all levels of staff
Able to work alone with mínimal supervision but contributes to the team
- Self-motivated and assertive, positive attitude to continuous improvement
- Ability to work to timeframes
- Customer Focussed
