**What you'll be doing**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Procurement Business Partner to join our friendly Procurement team based in Bath.

We are a not-for-profit housing association, support organisation and housebuilder, providing affordable homes and high-quality care and support services across the South West of England.

This is a really varied role, supporting stakeholders from across the organisation with their procurement requirements and contributing to group procurement strategies.

**Key areas**:
Assist in the development and execution of procurement strategies and plans for all categories of spend across functional and organisation boundaries to ensure optimum value for money procurement activities.

Collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to support the delivery of innovation and cost reduction across the business through procurement plans and support for contract management.

Lead, assist, and undertake specific procurement projects as agreed and assist in ensuring procurement activities adhere to appropriate legislation.

Identify and assist in delivering innovative opportunities that result in both cashable and non-cashable value for money benefits. Review contracts and spend data to ensure savings are being realised and value is being driven.

**More about you**
- A minimum of three years’ experience running successful procurement competitions (end to end) using a range of methods, techniques and routes to market.
- Hold, or be working towards, a relevant procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS Level 4 or above) or equivalent recognized commercial qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Public procurement regulations and able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of current procurement legislation.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, being able to confidently communicate with suppliers and customers at all levels
- You’ll be based in our office in Bath with the expectation of working in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
