**Role - Senior Support Worker - **Brand New Supported Living Service that will house 4 service users in their own bespoke home in the B29 area. The Service is due to open in July however transition work will begin beforehand.
This Supported Living Service will support adults with a Learning Disability who may have dual diagnoses including autism and associated complex needs. Service users will require 24/7 care on 2:1 care.
We will offer a bespoke service which will enable the best possible outcomes for those who live there.
**Contract**: Full-Time role on days
**Hours**: 36 hours a week
**Pay**: £11.60 per hour plus a £400 joining bonus

**Who is iBC Healthcare**

We hold contracts with over 20 Local Authorities & CCGs and continue to build relationships with commissioner’s to develop bespoke care facilities.

- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Support worker working with learning Disabiities
- It is desirable but not essential to have experience as a Senior Support Worker in a similar care setting
- Proactive person who can use your own decision making

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Empathetic to people and kind
- Good communication skills
- A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference
**Key responsibilities**:
- Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs and challenging behavior within a supported living environment
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures
- Identifying needs and preferences for each individual and providing personal care
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.
