**About the role**:
We are expanding our team and we are looking for an **Global Contract Solutions Manager**. The Contract Specialist is responsible for reviewing and negotiating the customer’s individual global program hotel and venue contract agreements and addenda, as well as master service agreements (MSA) to ensure both commercial and legal terms are compliant and mitigate risk for the firm.

The customer has an extensive book of work, including annual meetings that are large and complex by nature and cover the USA, Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions. Outstanding administrative skills, superior attention to detail, and some paralegal experience/training are essential prerequisites for this role.

**As an **Global Contract Solutions Manager**, you will**:

- Work closely with the customer’s Meetings & Events supply management team as well as the senior global operations manager and regional sourcing team leads to improve efficiencies and initiatives for contracting best practices.
- Work directly with the global sourcing team members to provide proactive consultative, strategic support with program contracts, addenda, and MSA.
- Manage contracting process, including proofreading for accuracy, careful review, and negotiation of both commercial and legal T’s and C’s for hotel and venue contracts, Addendum & MSA, in accordance with established standards and best practices.
- Liaise with hotel sales teams, national sales office/global sales offices, and hotel legal and insurance teams over contract and addendum T’s and C’s in order to negotiate fair and reasonable terms and conditions for the customer.
- Complete a contract checklist handover form template highlighting any T’s & C’s that are non-compliant and ready for the customer’s M&E contract leads to review and submit for signature.

**You’re good at**:

- Proven global event sourcing and contracting experience. Some level of paralegal training or experience. Outstanding attention to detail/proofreading. Strong administrative skills.
- Responsible for the effective execution of the global team’s contracting strategy.
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding Service Level Agreements.
- Attend hotel supplier meetings at the office and attend occasional FAM trips with the team.

**You might also have**:

- Demonstrated ability in sourcing complex meetings within timeline and budget constraints. Hotel/agency background ideal but not essential.

**You should know**:

- This role can be either fully remote or hybrid with days spent in our **London or Derby **Office
- The shift patterns for venue search are 9-5:30, 8:30-5 or 9:30-6 on a rotate basis, with an hours lunch break
