**Finance Assistant - Professional Services**

**£23-25,000 per annum DOE* + Excellent benefits package including 25 days + Bank Holidays, Pension, Annual Salary reviews, Hybrid Working Policy.**

**Tunbridge Wells, centrally located.**

**Office hours; Monday - Friday 9.15am-5.30pm. Hybrid working available 2 days remote.**

Are you looking for a busy finance based role and happy to learn and develop your accounting skills within this Cashiering department of a highly professional organisation?

**Main function of job role**:
Provide an effective and efficient daily service in the conduct of its client business and the processing of transactions. Training and support will be provided by the team. An interest in Finance, with some background would be ideal.

**Main duties**:

- Posting payments and inputting onto the online banking system (Bankline)
- Posting receipts (cheques and online receipts)
- Checking and posting client bills and credit notes
- Posting client transfers and bill write offs
- Dealing with queries
- Processing work in progress (time) transfers and write offs
- Processing staff expenses
- Producing and following up monitoring reports (e.g. inactive accounts, residual balances etc)
- Processing purchase ledger invoices

Training and support will be provided by the team. An interest in Finance, with some background would be ideal.

**Specialist Skills Required**
- Experience within a Finance capacity looking to learn, develop knowledge alongside the Head of Finance and Chief Cashier.
- Methodical and diligent approach to transaction processing tasks.
- Numerate and Accurate
