**Job description**

We are looking looking for a Purchasing & Admin Assistant to support our Buyer with the ordering of materials for our projects and providing admin support to our Project Managers and Finance team.

Purchasing & Admin Assistant responsibilities include raising orders to suppliers, tracking deliveries, updating order records, helping to resolve invoicing queries and supporting our team in the timely delivery of electrical projects.

This could be a **trainee role **for an enthusiastic person with interest in the construction industry, and who lives within a 60 minute commute of Tunbridge Wells.

If you are positive, well-organised, a good team player with great communication skills we would like to meet you.

**Responsibilities**
- Raising orders requested by electricians and Project Managers
- Maintaining database of electrical products and discounts
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Resolving invoicing queries
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
- Liaise with electricians on site to ensure all products arrive in good condition
- Providing information for O&M manuals
- Providing administrative support to the team

**Requirements and skills - **(an advantage)
- Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant &/or administrative role
- Hands-on experience using an ordering system
- Good numerical ability
- Great communication skills, oral & written
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Strong organisational skills
- Motivated team player
- Ability to form good working relationships with suppliers
- Excellent telephone manner
- Own transport (office is in a rural location)

Salary to be negotiated.
