Trainee Carpentry Workshop Assistant

Overview:
Join our team at Cardiff and Caerphilly Carpentry as an Workshop assistant, where you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction, carpentry, and general labor tasks. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the creation of bespoke furniture and carpentry projects across Cardiff, Caerphilly, Newport, and surrounding areas.
**Duties**:
- Assist carpenters and fitters build and spray hand made furnituer.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for assembling, fabricating, and installing structures
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project completion within set timelines
- Follow instructions diligently to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Experience in carpentry
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
Pay: £80.00-£336.80 per day
