Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide care and assistance to mothers and babies, sometimes mother, baby and father in a residential assessment centre, home setting. This is an important role that requires strong communication skills, good writing skills and experience in safeguarding children.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide care and support to mothers and babies in accordance with their care plans.
- Assist with safeguarding of the baby.
- Report writing.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals, if needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in baby and or mother's physical or mental health
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Accompany mother and baby to appointments as required.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a residential assessment centre, with mothers and babies critical.
- Proficient in using basic IT systems for documentation purposes.
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans mothers and babies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 48 per week
