Student Social Workers or Social Workers

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated student social workers or Social workers join our team. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need. Your primary responsibility will be to assess clients' needs, develop care plans, and connect them with appropriate resources and services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
**Duties**:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental needs
- Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings
- Provide counseling and support to clients facing various challenges such as mental health issues, substance abuse, domestic violence, or homelessness
- Connect clients with community resources and services such as housing assistance, healthcare providers, employment agencies, and educational programs
- Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they receive the necessary support and services
- Collaborate with other professionals such as psychologists, healthcare providers, and legal representatives to coordinate care for clients
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress
Qualifications:
- Student
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker (if required)
- Strong knowledge of social work principles, theories, and practices
- Experience in mentoring and supervising other social work professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for individuals facing challenging circumstances
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
