A 45 year old gentleman is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant to join his team of PAs working 14 hours per week.

He has a love of animals and the family have a pet German shepherd so the PA must be happy to be around animals.

The gentleman suffered a CVA stroke and is no longer able to mobilise independently or communicate verbally. He has a great sense of humour and would like a PA who is fun and supportive.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with transfers from bed to wheelchair/lounge chair and vice versa with another member of the team or family member.
- Provide personal care with dignity and respect
- Support with medication, feeds and water through PEG tube
- Support with Oxygen machine and Suctioning machine as required. Training will be provided.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Experience with PEG, Hoists preferred but not essential as all training will be provided.

**Shifts required**:

- Mondays - Thursday : 2pm - 5pm
- Saturday: 7pm - 9pm

The rate of pay is: £14 per hour

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
