**Duties and Responsibilities**

Responsible for accepting goods from suppliers and distributing them along with internal WIP to the relevant departments as required in a timely manner.
- Responsible for receiving deliveries of goods from suppliers and performing initial safety and quality checks such as temperature, quantities, dates, and correct items have been received.
- Adhere to any health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring that staff members are not put in any danger or situation that could cause harm to themselves or others.
- Adhere to any food safety regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring the quality, safety and integrity of the product is kept to the highest standard and specification.
- Undertaking quality control inspections for any damages or defects, ensuring customer expectations and company standards are maintained, and reporting any issues to the line manager in a timely manner to allow a resolution.
- Storing and transporting goods in the appropriate locations, ensuring that they are in a safe and secure manner to prevent any damages.
- Inputting and maintaining stock inventory system including performing stock rotation to ensure mínimal stock loss at a financial cost to the company.
- Transfer and distribute goods to the relevant departments within a timely manner to allow all departments to run smoothly.
- Operate equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximising output, adherence to plan, waste reduction and cost savings.
- Ensure efficient stock rotation is carried out in all areas.
- Maintain yard and storage area cleanliness.

Work hours: 6.30am - 3.30pm

**Salary**: 11.12 per hour
