Great opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist to join our Road Logistics team in Birmingham
- ** Your Role **:To ensure exceptional levels of customer service and operational support for all clients, we diligently process and monitor shipments. Our dedicated team is committed to meeting the needs of our diverse customer base while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy. We prioritise effective communication and problem-solving to ensure smooth logistics and customer satisfaction. We strive to deliver outstanding service and support to all individuals who rely on our branch.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:
- Efficiently process bookings from clients and overseas agents onto the system.
- Provide operational support for Freight Account Managers as needed.
- Liaise with all relevant parties throughout the shipment to organize the movement of goods.
- Address any issues that may arise during a shipment and provide updates to clients and/or Freight Account Managers.
- Process sales and purchase invoices for the branch in a timely manner.
- Foster a team culture of enablement and development, working collaboratively.
- Complete tasks assigned by supervisors/managers promptly and effectively.
- Assist with other departmental work when necessary to ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness, maintaining consistent customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.
