**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Management Scheduling Co-ordinator to join our Volunteer Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth scheduling of all contracted studies to ensure optimal and effective project delivery. Planning, preparing and managing internal screening for our volunteers and volunteer follow up slots in line with project Gantt charts.

You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team, therefore you will be required to work and communicate effectively across different areas of the business. Being able to build strong working relationships and collaborate with colleagues is key to being successful in this position.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**
- Plan, prepare and manage screening and follow up slots to ensure effective delivery of clinical studies
- Liaise with relevant departments e.g. volunteer management, medical and project management to ensure schedules are accurate and demand levels are met
- Review of project synopsis / protocols to ensure all project requirements are covered
- Deal and manage effectively with queries arising from Project Management and Clinic regarding screening scheduling
- Deal and manage effectively any last minute or unexpected amendments to the scheduled to not impact on effective delivery of studies
- Keep clinical senior management informed of all problems and developments regarding the screening schedules and identify any clashes and suggest how to resolve them
- Provide analysis on where capacity may be increased
- Collation of data analysis for Volunteer Management KPIs and Metrics
- Identify desirable changes or modifications to the scheduling which will enhance or improve the process
- Undertake analysis on required volunteer screening numbers and have input into recruitment needs to ensure effective delivery of clinical studies

**Other skills and experience required**
- Highly organised, a strong communicator with a problem solving mind-set
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Experienced working with Microsoft Excel, databases and Outlook to a high standard, strong IT and systems experience preferred
- Ability to respond quickly to business demands and react to changing circumstances, escalating issues or concerns to management when required
