**About the Role**
We are seeking a motivated and driven intern to join our Property Transfer Department on an 8-week summer internship programme.
McCarthy Stone’s internship programme will provide you with an excellent experience where you will gain industry and field-related skills, and experience, while earning a competitive salary. Taking part in our programme will boost your CV and will ensure you have a deep understanding of our business, the industry that we operate in and an insight into our customers.
The Property Transfer Post-completion team is seeking an enthusiastic, detailed-oriented team player that thrives on learning new skills and processes in an established but developing team.
Being a Post-Completion Property Transfer Team intern will develop your communication, organisation and time management skills, as well as honing your ability to pick up new things quickly and deliver accurate results - all skills that will help set you up for your future success. We work on a wide range of tasks for the business, setting-up and managing the McCarthy Stone records for new homeowners and renters. Day to day could see you liaising with our internal finance teams, contacting external solicitors, updating our Development Managers or ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our McCarthy Stone records. Whatever you work on, you’ll be a valued member of a friendly and supportive team, leaning new skills and further developing those you already have. Most importantly, you will play a hugely valuable role in delivering brilliant customer experience for all new McCarthy Stone homeowners - something we strive to do every day.
Alongside your role, you will be part of a cohort of interns which will instantly enable you to start building your internal network at McCarthy Stone. There will also be a series of Learning & Development opportunities to get involved in throughout your journey with us including insight and skills sessions and lunch and learns on key business topics.
**Please note this role will be based five days a week in our Bournemouth Head Office.**
**About You**
**Education and Qualifications**
- Studying towards a degree in any discipline, on target for a minimum of a 2:2
- A grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent
**Personal Attributes**
- Organised and works well to deadlines.
- Able to multitask and prioritise.
- Communicates clearly, both written and verbally.
- Shows a good level of attention to detail, whilst listening well and following process.
- Works well within a team, but equally on their own.
- Good at building working relationships
- Has a flexible, positive and can-do attitude
- Computer literate and has experience in Microsoft Office software.
