Agent Lending is a product line within Trading Services, CIB. Agent Lending provides securities lending services to institutional investors such as pension funds, mutual funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and central banks. Securities Lending is an asset management technique, which increases return on a portfolio. It involves temporary transfer of a security from the owner to the borrower, with both title & ownership transferred. Securities are held in custody at JPMorgan and other custodian banks. The transaction is collateralised with cash or securities (non-cash) to value of securities lent. At the end of the term, borrower returns the security and economic benefits return to lender (interest, corporate actions).

Our responsibility as the Corporate Actions team is the management of client assets - ensuring that the client receives the right entitlement as a result of corporate action. The g lobal corporate actions role has oversight in the EMEA, APAC and WHEM regions. The team's main focus is on the management of client assets, ensuring clients receive the correct entitlements resulting from a corporate action. With additional responsibilities to global trade desks to help maximise revenue bot both clients and JPM. This is an end to end process from initial reconciliation to payment and event closure, the role is deadline driven and requires you to have a high level of risk awareness. As this is a team that covers global markets, you are required to be flexible during peak operational times.

**Job responsibilities
- Manage risks involved in voluntary corporate actions.
- Market and corporate investigation - Locate arbitrage opportunities for the trade desk.
- Cash and stock break investigation and reconciliations.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders: Third-party custodians, brokers, client relationship managers, internal teams, trade desks.
- Provide reporting to senior management.
- Work towards multiple intraday deadlines.
- Executing intricate calculations.

- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels and most importantly an excellent team player
- Excellent analytical skills, logical mind-set and ability to anticipate potential issues and risk
- Needs to be able to work autonomously under pressure and recognise when escalations should be made
- Motivated to progress within the department and propel own development
- Ability to successfully handle and take ownership of change
