**The role**
Information Governance Officer Location Negotiable, 17.5 hours, Permanent Salary range per annum £33261 - £37572 pro rata* At the Royal College of Nursing we’re an optimistic organisation. As an Information Governance Officer you’ll use your positive attitude, your knowledge of Information Governance and Data Protection legistlation to help deliver the RCN’s Information Governance Strategy. It's a job full of possibilities as you could get involved in anything from Data Subject Rights requests to implementing recommendations from penetration tests and assisting with data audits. We'll look to you to assist with maintaining the Information Asset register, business continuity planning, and reporting on Data Protection compliance. It's a great way to build your knowledge of our work and develop your potential.
**The person**
As well as exceptional customer service, to join us you’ll need an in-depth knowledge of Information Governance Practices and Data Protection Legislation.
