Alina Homecare are now looking to appoint a Live-in administrator to join our fantastic team operating from our Guildford branch. We are growing as a business and as a result now have a great opportunity for somebody who is passionate about live in care who wishes to progress with a genuinely caring company.

**Job Role**:
Reporting to the Live in Care Manager and working closely with your team and your carers you will make sure that every customer gets the quality of care that they deserve. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the entire Alina Live in business. Coordinating and briefing carers prior to their placements, communicating with branch managers to ensure their Live-in placements are covered and running smoothly. You will also support your team when required with the recruitment of new carers, conducting interviews, Live in presentations and managing compliance. Put simply, you’ll help to make sure that your colleagues and customer received the best possible services possible.

**Principle Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the day-to-day running of the Live-in hub and ensuring compliance with all requirements of CQC via rostering, recording and reporting.
- Coordinating and briefing carers prior to their placements, communicating with branch managers to ensure their live-in placements are covered and running smoothly.
- Accepting changes to live in placements as requested by customers, their relatives and branch managers.
- Accepting new packages from a variety of referral routes.
- Supporting business development by communicating to prospective new customers and providing all relevant information in a professional manner, sending leaflets and follow up information in a timely manner.
- Investigating complaints, taking appropriate remedial action and if required reporting this to senior management and/or the CQC.
- Ensuring that effective induction, supervision and assessment of staff is carried out and that training needs are identified and met.
- Taking an active part in on call responsibilities as required.
- Forward planning for training days for live in care workers ensuring that there is adequate staff coverage so as not to cause interruption to daily operations.

**Personal Specification**
- Professional and a team player with good literacy skills
- Able to use word/excel computer programmes
- Able to use initiative and work to deadlines
- Good phone manner and organisational skills
- Staff rota experience
- Be able to deal with potentially stressful, deadline driven situation.
- Drivers Licence and Transport
