Overview

As a B2B2C company, we believe customers should receive the right information at the right time and in a consistent way when they select and implement a new Mastercard product. Great content is critical. In this role, you’ll support an initiative aimed at making onboarding and implementation simple and easy for our customers. You’ll also frequently collaborate with designers, researchers and product managers on Mastercard products themselves, ensuring content supports a stellar end-to-end experience.

The Content Design team is evolving how Mastercard communicates with its customers. Our growing team of content designers sits within the larger Customer Experience and Design (CX&D) team, part of Mastercard Foundry, an interdisciplinary group driving innovation and design thinking forward within the company. Working closely with partners across the business, we power Mastercard’s ability to deliver differentiated solutions and experiences—ones that make the digital economy work better for everyone, from financial institutions to farmers.

Role

Drive the adoption and usage of product onboarding standards and guidelines through communications and change management best practices, ensuring Mastercard-level consistency and supporting transformational change across our product catalog.

Act as the primary Content Designer on B2B2C payments products, defining content deliverables and delivering high-quality work that meets stated goals.

Develop strategic approaches to content and make research-driven decisions; create supporting documentation to show your work.

Create and execute strategic communications aimed at a diverse set of audiences both internal and external, considering their end-to-end-experience.

Document and maintain guidelines and best practices, ensuring they’re easy to understand and apply.

Independently drive projects forward, including planning, tracking and reporting on progress, effectively managing time, setting expectations and influencing stakeholders.

Demonstrate and contribute to an inclusive, engaged and supportive team culture.

Stay on top of industry trends and best practices to inform how we approach our work.

All about you

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in content strategy, UX writing, or related field (e.g., communications, copywriting).

Demonstrated expertise writing and shaping content for products and services

Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, fluid and changing environment

Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence strategic direction and cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience working with design and/or product teams.

Understanding of Change Management principles is a plus.
