Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication administration, maintaining inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.

**Duties**:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription orders by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and packaging medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy area
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication administration
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medication names, dosages, and pharmaceutical calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and prescription processing
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

**Skills**:

- Patient care: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care to patients while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Medication administration: Proficient in accurately preparing medications for dispensing according to established protocols.
- Pharmacy technician: Familiarity with pharmacy operations, including inventory management, prescription processing, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
