Additionally, there are the specific regulatory responsibilities pertaining to accountancy. Due to the sensitivity of information we hold on to, an understanding of GDPR compliance and Anti-Money Laundering regulations is preferrable - though specific training is provided. We handle a substantial amount of sensitive paperwork from clients daily and are working to become an eco-friendly business that relies less on paper. Therefore, basic filing skills are necessary to keep track of all the different types of files we handle, with a frugal approach to the necessity of printing.

The day-to-day work of someone in this role will involve the use of basic computer software such as Microsoft and Adobe, but also our core internal software (CCH, Sage, PC Share, etc.). It is not essential that a potential applicant already understands our systems, however an ability to quickly pick up the processes that we adhere to is of overriding importance.

**Summary of Job Duties**:

- Assisting in Company Secretarial work where needed
- Create and process client invoices
- Keeping track of office supplies, and ordering in when necessary
- Maintaining the company filing system and database (incl. scanning and shredding old files)
- Processing new clients (adding to the database, creating new client files, confirming ID, etc.)
- Aiding colleagues and management where needed
- Screening and distributing company post

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- 4/C or above in English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in customer facing roles
- Professional attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Right to work in the UK

**Preferred**:

- Previous experience in administrative roles
- Understanding of Accountancy Standards
