**Service Administrator**

**Normanton**

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate service requests from clients and internal teams, ensuring timely response and resolution.
- Schedule maintenance and repair appointments for plant machinery and equipment across various locations.
- Liaise with field technicians and service teams to ensure timely arrival and completion of service tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, work orders, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of spare parts and equipment to support maintenance operations.
- Communicate with clients regarding service updates, scheduling changes, and any issues related to equipment servicing.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, logistics, and finance to support overall business operations.
- Provide administrative support to the service manager and field teams as needed, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within the plant hire or construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database management systems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
- Knowledge of plant machinery and equipment is desirable but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,596.12-£22,000.00 per year
