My client is a well-established company based in Normanton who are looking for an Patient Booking Administrator to join their fast growing business. They are a provider of services for Minor Surgery.

You will work within the Appointment Booking Centre dealing with patient queries, processing referrals from GPs and contacting patients to book appointments balancing patient choice, effective clinic utilisation and waiting time targets.

Ideally you will have an appointment booking background or come from a call centre where you are dealing with a number of calls.
- Providing a friendly, courteous and efficient service to patients, visitors, carers, GPs and all users of the service, by responding to telephone calls into the Appointment Booking Centre.
- All administration for patients within the clinical system, including booking patients into clinic slots, communication with GPs and creating appointment/ discharge letters.
- Ensuring clinic capacity by ensuring appointment slots are fully utilised.
- Offering patients, a choice of appointments, negotiating the most suitable appointment date and time within the individual service target waiting times.
- General administrative support across all services

Overall, the role needs someone who is a team player, friendly and presentable. You will be meeting and greeting patients, so a high degree of customer service is required. This is a small friendly team and are looking for an individual who is flexible andapproachable and can work across departments if needed.
