Complaints Handler

The Role
- Assist in the resolution of complaints; review client files and develop appropriate responses in file response letters.
- Contribute to the completion of monthly and ad hoc Management Information on complaints.
- Assist with periodic regulatory returns.
- Assist with root cause trend analysis of complaints.
- Contribute to the implementation of new complaints system.
- Demonstrate understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role (including risk management and taking account of outcomes for clients).

Skills and Experience
- Experience with complaint handling in Wealth Management sector.
- Excellent written and report writing skills.
- Good time management and experience with tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving and empathy.
- Proactive approach to tasks.
- Experience of performing loss assessment calculations.
- Knowledge of relevant FCA Rules including COBS Rules and Dispute Resolution (DISP) Rules.
- Understanding and experience with Wealth Management products (e.g. Pensions, ISAs)
